Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we offer boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS: The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. Your safety is our main priority! All of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. PHOTOS: One of the instructors will try to take complimentary GoPro photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. Keep in mind that it's not alway possible to get water shots due to safety reasons. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. I'm out of town until approx 9 Sept. I'm flexible to teach surf lessons 7 days a week. Message me with a date you're interested in, and I'll check to see if conditions will be good to go surfing! Come paddle out with me! We'll have a great time learning to surf together! You'll be given instructions on how to maneuver the surfboard in the challenging ocean environment, how and when to stand up, as well as where to paddle out, and paddle in safely. I will take us to a great area for beginning surfers somewhere up and down the coast other than Cowell's Beach which is generally very crowded. This location will depend on the tides/winds and waves the day of your lesson. I will aide you in catching your first waves so that everyone gets to ride waves their first day. Most of you will be able to stand up your first day and feel the rush of riding Nature's energy in a truly pure form. I will also do my best to capture some of your rides using a goPro camera so that you have a photographic souvenir of your experience, and I try to send everyone at least a few pictures from their day surfing - no extra cost! Other things to note Most surfers wear nothing under a wetsuit but, I find beginners like having a bathing suit underneath. Have a bathing suit underneath your clothes, and bring a towel to change with. Bring sunscreen, driver's license/credit card to rent a wetsuit.

We strive to integrate the natural wisdom of the llama with the cultural heritage of this intelligent creature by relating knowledge of the Andean cosmology and the Andean spiritual path. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, greet, interact with and communicate with our specially trained llama friends. This Experience is about llamas for wellness and educational proposes. We do believe in llamas as healers and messengers of Mother Nature (Pachamama). We want you to experience their medicine and help us on their training too. Safety is always top priority for guests and the llamas, so our program will be different on a winter day after a rainy week than it will be on a hot August afternoon. Please wear comfortable shoes and country clothing. We will put you into situations where you will be able to understand who these llamas are, personally discovering the different personalities that make up our herd. Take in stunning views of the High Desert of the Mojave, accompanied by goats. We’ll meet our 15 friendly Nubian goats in their pens. They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll hike about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. Cat is international award-winning variety performer Vixen DeVille with 15 years experience in Fire Eating and Flame Manipulation. At the newly renovated Theatre 68 Arts Complex she will take you through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully with hand transfers, tongue transfers and of course, extinguishing the flame with your mouth. This is NOT an illusion! By the end of the session you'll be fire eating and body burning like a pro. Other things to note: Wear close-fitting clothes, sleeveless is ideal and either leggings or shorts. Flat shoes, no heels. Avoid wearing lipstick or body moisturizer & avoid use of hairspray. Long hair should be tied back. Take a tandem Hang Glider flight with an accredited instructor over Southern California. I'll handle the takeoff and landing, and you'll get to enjoy the amazing experience of soaring in a hang glider on a 15- to 45-minute flight. I’ll point out landmarks from above and explain how to maneuver the glider. If you’re up for it—and conditions allow—you may even get to take the controls for a bit. La Jolla Bay is a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving ecosystem that boasts a high concentration of sea life, has a natural boat launch, which allows safe ocean entry year-round, and is famous for its Sea Caves and Marine Reserve. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. The boat illuminates 360 degrees inside and outside, and it is a lot of fun riding it after dark. To complete your experience, a Bluetooth speaker will make your boat rock'n'roll. Our crew will guide everyone through Night Bay to ensure you feel safe and know where to go. On an average night, we have 12 Glow boats and two boats with our safety crew. We will spend the first half of our experience hiking up 200-500’ (depending on the group) in elevation at a relaxed and enjoyable pace. Up the mountain, we go through uninterrupted Tahoe National Forest. Guiding through the alpine scenery your guides will be sharing stories of the area, history, as well as local flora and fauna. Roughly halfway, we find peaceful open meadows covered in snow. As we explore, reflective light from snow crystals flicker with every step. We meander down the hill enjoying mountain vistas of the surrounding area and ski resorts of Palisades Tahoe. This hike is a perfect outing into the Sierra Nevada mountains. We return back to our vehicles finishing a loop trail. Due to the seclusion, seeing another person is highly unlikely. So step off the beaten path and allow us to show you a true mountain outing you won’t surely forget. This hike is considered a beginner in difficulty and best suited for kids 7 years and up

I'm also guiding custom backpacking trips for low cost August-October to Yosemite as well, let me know your dates, and I'll try and make it happen as I'm flexible. For the experience in Feb. 2025, this is flexible (15-25 Feb.) - weather dependent, to see the Firefall. For this experience, we'll meet in the South Bay Area (Most often a custom pick up from Santa Cruz, SJC airport, or anywhere in the South Bay.) and drive approximately 4 hours to the upper reaches of the San Joaquin River outside Bass Lake, arriving between mid-day to early afternoon depending on your schedule. We'll stop at an overlook which inspires and showcases the adventure to be had, and have a snack, then continue as far as we can by car to our destination, a dirt parking area near a trail head to the Ansel Adams Wilderness. No congestion and tour buses here! We'll hike approximately 3-4 miles from the trail head, to a spot with an overwhelming view filled with river gorges and granite domes to have lunch and cool off in a nearby granite stream. We'll then climb to the top of a nearby granite dome and enjoy another amazing view few have seen. Depending on the group, we'll relax in this amazing place, or in the late afternoon, if you're up to it, we'll climb to yet another granite dome and enjoy the peace and serenity of the evening light before heading back to the car and reality left behind.

In the middle of the desert, we have the gift of a natural geothermal hots spring under our land. We had large boulders made of out granite or marble carved into soaking tubs. We placed these tubs several hundred feet away from any structures. The experience is raw with no amenities other than the hot mineral water and rock tub. We are a few minutes of the main road and the meeting spot may be hard to find.
